SOS Lubnān – In preparation for the upcoming “Medical Day” in Tripoli, RSC Chairman Emiliano Stornelli was received together with Col. Attilio Cortone (Italian Army), Deputy Chairman of the Military Technical Committee for Lebanon (MTC4L), by H.E. Sheikh Muhammad Imam, Mufti and Head of Dar al-Fatwa for Tripoli and north Lebanon.

During the visit to the Mufti, RSC Chairman Stornelli and Col. Cortone were accompanied by Monsignor Joseph Ghabash, representing H.E. Soueif, and RSC Legal Advisor, Dr. Dolly Farah, former Head of the Human Rights Department at the Tripoli Bar Association.
The “Medical Day” will take place on November 15 at the Ecole Al Moutrane.
A comprehensive package of assistance will be provided to families and individuals in need, including free medical checkups and the distribution of medicines, food, clothing, and other aid.
The event will be open to all groups in Tripoli and reflects the close cooperation between religious, civil, and international actors.
UNIFIL, MTC4L and RSC are planning “Medical Day” programs in other areas of Lebanon as well, where refugees from southern Lebanon are also being hosted.
