
SOS Lubnān – RSC Chairman Emiliano Stornelli met with the Maronite Archbishop of Tripoli, North Lebanon, H.E. Youssef Soueif, and the Deputy Chairman of the Military Technical Committee for Lebanon (MTC4L), Colonel Attilio Cortone of the Italian Army.
RSC Chairman was accompanied by RSC Legal Advisor, Dr. Dolly Farah, former Head of the Human Rights Department at the Tripoli Bar Association.
The meeting focused on the imminent organization in Tripoli of the “Medical Day”, a new initiative designed to support families and individuals in need across the city.
During the “Medical Day”, a comprehensive package of assistance will be provided, including free medical checkups and distribution of medicines, food, clothing, and other essential aid.
The “Medical Day” will be opened to all communities in Tripoli, as a result of the cooperation between religious, civil, and international actors.
MTC4L and RSC are scheduling “Medical Day” programs also in other areas of Lebanon.
With these activities, RSC continues its mission to promote peace and living together through humanitarian engagement in vulnerable areas and countries.
