The #Badi_Baligh (I want to inform) Campaign deployed to Al Tal Square in Tripoli. A team of young activists led by Mousawat Organization reached out to local citizens, raising awareness of the provisions and penalties of Law 205, which criminalizes harassment against women. They provided information about how to report any case of violation to the authorities, and distributed the phone number of the Internal Security Forces (01293293) and the hotline of Mousawat (81434224) to be called for help. Tripoli’s citizens praised the “importance of this activity”, and voiced their hope that it will be “repeated in different parts of the city, particularly in schools and universities”. #Badi_Baligh Campaign is promoted by Mousawat Organization, in coordination with Tripoli’s Municipality and in partnership with other civil society organizations, syndicates, and the Religion & Security Council (RSC).
