“SOS Lubnān” – A new shipment of humanitarian aid for Lebanon has been promoted by the Religion & Security Council (RSC) in partnership with the Annas Linnas Association. Medicines and clothing were sent from Italy via the Military Technical Committee for Lebanon (MTC4L), which oversaw the distribution of the supplies to local beneficiaries, particularly in the area of Sayda.
RSC and Annas Linnas had organized a shipment of medicines also during the recent conflict, in collaboration with the Lebanese Embassy to Italy.
RSC ongoing commitment to supporting the Lebanese population through “SOS Lubnān” is part of the “Human Fraternity Initiative”. Originally launched in Tripoli, North Lebanon, with the aim of fostering interreligious dialogue and cooperation, the “Human Fraternity Initiative” is now expanding its reach on both a national and regional level, with upcoming activities planned in Iraq (Mosul) and other Middle East countries.
