A new donation of medicines, medical equipment, and clothing was delivered in Beirut by a delegation of the Military Technical Committee for Lebanon (MTC4L) to the Pierre Gemayel Social Health Center. The items, shipped from Italy aboard a military aircraft of the Italian Army, were collected by the Religion & Security Council (RSC) and the Annas Linnas Association.
During the visit, MTC4L was represented by Lt. Col. Antonio Asciolla and Sgt. Maj. Alessandro Salvalaio, who were welcomed by Ms. Fadwa Yacoub, President of the Mar Mikhael Maternity and Childcare Association, the organization managing the Pierre Gemayel Social Health Center. The initiative was also attended by RSC Chairman Emiliano Stornelli.
New humanitarian initiatives are currently being developed, reflecting Italy’s ongoing commitment to supporting the Lebanese population.
