Dr. Alberto Di Gennaro is the founder of Arab Finance Communication and publisher of ‘Alim ‒ The Shari’ah Scholar’s Journal, dedicated to the Middle East and its cultural traditions. An arabist, writer, and researcher, as an expert and consultant on Islamic finance, Dr. Di Gennaro has traveled extensively for over thirty years, visiting and staying long-term in countries such as Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Sudan, Lebanon, Syria, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Oman, Yemen, Turkey, Pakistan. He authored numerous articles and commentaries, and is currently finalizing the drafting of two volumes, one on the heritage sites and history of Yemen and a photo book on the ancient city of Tayma in Saudi Arabia. Dr. Di Gennaro joined RSC as Senior Fellow and Advisor on Middle East cultural relations.
